We all have different schedules. Our lives aren't the same, but we must learn to take the time to consider what we're doing to our bodies. Our lifestyle shouldn't falter due to lack of time. Here are two important factors to maintaining a healthy life:
Nutrition is the most important aspect of anyone's workout regimen.
There are a lot of crazy diets out here, and most of them aren't working. Why is that? Just because you lose the 20 pounds, doesn't mean you stop there. Now the goal is to keep this weight off.
In my opinion, the best way to eat is grazing. This means you eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day.
It's important to understand that our bodies are like well-oiled machines, but if you don't feed them every 3 hours, they will hold on to fat and activate "survival mode" so that the body continues to conduct normal activities like the beating of your heart, breathing, walking, etc.
When you eat, your body releases the fat that it was holding on to and makes room for this new fat to be stored. So eating every 2-3 hours is healthier for you, and you lose much weight this way.
Here's a breakdown to follow:
- Breakfast; Snack; Snack
- Lunch; Snack; Snack
- Dinner; Snack(optional)
THATS ALL IT TAKES! But yet may people beg to differ.
Your last meal should be 3 hours before you go to bed. An example would be: If you go to bed at 10, your last meal will be at 7.
Many people use different exercises when it comes to cardio. My golden rule is to use whichever way that allows you to have fun while doing so. However, running is the most effective way to burn fat and keep it off. You don't have to run fast, but find your pace and keep it.
Treadmill or running outdoors: Which one is more effective?
Answer - Whichever one you choose. Some people don't like running on the treadmill because it feels complacent, some don't like running outside.
